During a trip to Toronto, Canada, I visited a few friends of mine who I'd met over the internet. Much gaming fun was had, as well as a trip to the local Jack Astors. Between games, Qeveren loaded up an anime music video called "Bitches". Until then, I had never heard of the band Mindless Self Indulgence, and until then, I had never watched Pikachu (of Pokémon fame) beat himself up in such a rhythmic manner. Otaku Vengeance's work splicing together Mindless Self Indulgence's wonderfully offensive song and clips from the first Pokemon movie was hilarious.

It wasn't until later, while I was discussing the new DWI format with Torrle, that the idea of writing steps to Bitches came up. Since I was working on what would eventually become Plaguemix One, I promised him that I'd eventually get around to putting steps down to Bitches; I never realized how soon that would be!

With Dan (Old Skool Mix) the sole survivor of my older BMS works, I needed new material. While I was learning how to write in the new DWI format, I decided I would release collections of five songs at a time. That way, original content could be acquired in a single, coherent package -- similar to DDR's mixes -- rather than a ragtag bunch of singles released from time to time. Because of this, Torrle's idea to make Bitches into a DWI came to life much sooner than I expected. A few web-searches for Mindless Self Indulgence images later, the background and banner were ready, and the song was on its way to inducing painfully slow chaos as one fifth of the Plaguemix One collection.
